The Aging and People with Disabilities program offers a website search tool to help consumers research long-term care provider licensing and compliance information. This website makes it possible for consumers to search for care providers by location, type of setting (such as nursing facility, assisted living/residential care or adult foster home) and whether the facility accepts Medicaid or Medicare. The new site also provides information about each facility’s licensing compliance history, including substantiated complaints and incidents of abuse, survey/inspection reports and the penalty amount assessed for violations.
