What is a Trustee in Oregon?

A Trustee is an individual or organization selected to administer a trust.   This is typically a selection made by the trustor or grantor, but may, in some situations, require court involvement.

A trustee can be named when you are creating or modifying your estate plan with your attorney. You may have circumstances where you would benefit from selecting a professional fiduciary to serve as trustee or successor trustee of your trust.  Some GCA members provide this service.
