About the GCA

The GCA of Oregon is a volunteer, non-profit organization, and is the Oregon affiliate of the National Guardianship Association. Oregon membership reflects a wide variety the guardianship and conservatorship practitioners and attorneys in Oregon, including public and non-profit agencies, for-profit solo and group practitioners, volunteers and family guardians.

The GCA offers training and support for Guardians and Conservators in Oregon. It supports professional certification through the National Center for Guardianship Certification, which also offers significant support services, including training, assistance in finding a Guardian, and develops national ethical and practice standards. The Oregon Revised Statutes relating to Guardianship and Conservatorship are located at ORS 125.
