Becoming a Professional Guardian/Conservator

Oregon Courts generally require that professional Guardians or Conservators in Oregon be both nationally and state certified through the National Center for Guardian Certification. This process requires significant training and experience. For a summary of the process and requirements, see:

30-hour Guardian- Conservator Training: Portland Community College, Sylvania, offers Gerontology238, Guardian-Conservator Training, twice a year. The class is taught by a nationally and Oregon-certified GCA member, with additional speakers for selected topics.
